of funni interest is that with this (well-thought-out and readworthy btw) blog post https://drewdevault.com/2021/12/28/Dont-use-Discord-for-FOSS.html DDV puts himself literally one degree from fediblock kevin bacon.. excuse me, I mean Seirdy, famous Umbrellix blocker (who is the single reason that, most likely, once Umbrellix Interim becomes a real OS, many potential future Umbrellix Interim users will have a hard time hearing about updates if they don't subscribe to the mailing list)
